DOGS

Dogs: Men (or should I say boys?) who don't know how to properly approach a woman.
Today as I was walking to the metro I was approached (or should I say hollered at?) by two DOGS. The first dog was a man driving a big white truck, obviously working. He honked his horn and by habit, I turned my head. When I turned my head I see the man driving with his head turned back at me smiling and waving.
Now, okay...what do these dogs honestly think is about to happen when they do these things? Am I supposed to wave back? Blow a kiss? Chase after them and give them my number? Honestly! It's common sense men, real ladies do not want that type of attention.
After continuing my walk, not too long after the first dog, I was glancing inside of the Starbucks debating whether I should get an Iced Chai or not. Before I got the chance to decide two boys were walking in my direction looking like they were ready to hunt some prey and I must've had EAT ME or I AM YOUR PREY written on my forehead in dog food because the dogs came to play. One of the boys stared hungrily and said, "Dang, you look good. What's your name?" I've learned that at this point it's better to just not waste your breath giving dogs all of your information. So I gave a small closed-mouth smile and waved my hand up slightly as if to say, "No, thank you." As I walked forward and proceeded to my walk, the boy repeated himself, and added a "mmmmmm" as I could feel him staring at my backside.
Again, ladies...what do they HONESTLY think is going to happen when we are approached this way. I don't want a man who talks to a lady this way and be treated as some piece of meat.
Ladies do not date dogs.
Today's Lesson: If you are approached by a dog, act as a cat and run away.

Be safe ladies!
Meow. (:
